Customers aren't the only thing Harmony
Wheeler catches.
Harmony Wheeler is a Journalism/Public Relations student at Biola University and has written dozens of articles for various publications including the Biola student newspaper, The Chimes, where she currently serves as news editor. After graduation, she hopes to find a job involving news, feature, or public relations writing.

Wheeler has an extensive background in social media as well as in reviewing books, CDs, and movies.  She has written reviews for The Aboite Independent, Christianbookpreviews.com, The Christian Communicator MagazineChurch Libraries Magazine, and Staticmultimedia.com.  She has also written feature articles for The Christian Communicator MagazineChurch Libraries Magazine,Taylor University Fort Wayne’s Alumnus Magazine, and StaticMultimedia.com.

Specializing in social media and news releases, Harmony Wheeler has an extensive background in public relations.

Wheeler has experience with video editing using iMovie. She wrote several articles for Sierra Repertory Theatre's E-Newsletters and created several promotional videos after starting aYouTube site for the company. Her videos received over 100 views in their first weeks of being posted and were linked to on the Sierra Rep's Facebook page, which Wheeler helped manage. Meanwhile, Wheeler boosted audience relations by greeting, ushering and photographing audience members.

Wheeler worked for MJM Entertainment Group, promoting films, musicians, and politicians. Wheeler networked with company contacts. In addition to attending and helping with setup for film screening events, Wheeler wrote several press releases for MJM clients, as well as fact sheets and instructional materials on how to maintain one of the Group's websites, Bully! Pulpit. She also wrote headlines and news stories for the site and maintained the site's dailyRSS news feed.

While at MJM, Wheeler also pitched story ideas to various media through letters and phone calls, successfully gaining a public presence for MJM's clients and managing results through databases including Google Documents, Excel, and Numbers. Wheeler maintained positive customer and client relations, as well, assisting in special screenings of films and greeting guests as they arrived at screenings.

Wheeler understands the importance of reaching the customer directly and is ready to research customers, develop customer profiles, and base marketing plans on the information gathered, aiming to solve the customers' problems and meet the customers' needs.
